occasional images of boston

As a writer, I’ve always been skeptical of the claim “a picture is worth a thousand words.”  I remember selling a dark fantasy short story for three cents a word some years back and receiving a check for thirty-five bucks.  I believe the editor rounded-up the total to make the figure an even dollar amount.  That fee-scale would make a picture worth thirty bucks.  And, with the current economic crisis and a minimum rage at $8.00 an hour (in Massachusetts), a single photograph could be worth almost four hours of wages.  Okay, on to the images and I’ll worry about payment later on.  Enjoy!
